Dear “Rosaliman,”
I was contacted by several fellow “Rosalimans” (one of them Natividad Lavitoria Mata of class 1970) requesting for a “Grand Alumni Homecoming” in the Philippines. Hence, I am disseminating this info letter for feedback.
I need your input as to when we can have the grand homecoming. History-wise, we had been having our grand alumni homecoming on the last week of December: 1st was held on 28 December 1986; 2nd -27 December 1987; 3rd – 18 February 1989; 4th – 30 December 1990; 5th – 28 – 29 December 2001.
We will be shooting for 2010 Grand Alumni Homecoming. We should have plenty of time preparing for this. We just have to come up with the month and date, of course.
Likewise, I am seeking for volunteers to serve as coordinators/representatives from all graduating classes of 1968 to 2008 (40 or more volunteers). Their job would be to contact the members of their graduating class and provide me their e-mail addresses, mailing addresses and phone numbers so I can send them info RE: 2010 Grand Alumni Homecoming.
Let me know what you think then we can decide and start planning for this big event. I need to know ASAP - - - remember, we still have to coordinate this event with our fellow alumni in the Philippines.
